Hudson and West Forge
Forge is made from a heathered blend of 70% U.S. Merino (sourced in Colorado and New Mexico), and 30% U.S. Corriedale (sourced in New York) wool. Forge is a round, well-balanced three-ply yarn. It has a beautiful balance of stitch definition, bounce, and wooly, cohesive bloom that produces both beautiful stockinette fabrics and eye-popping cables. Forge is fabulous in sweaters, hats, mitts, cowls, and even large-format shawls, and knits up happily on needles in the US 6 - 8 (4.00 mm to 5.00 mm) range.
Forge is spun at Mountain Meadow Wool in Buffalo, Wyoming, and dyed at Ultimate Textile in Rutherfordton, North Carolina.

Love this springy, bouncy yarn. Sad it is being discontinued.
So surprised by this American "woolly wool," my first use of a non-super wash wool. I love it! Great in the hand, wonderful stitch definition & a real beauty following blocking. Highly recommend!
