Born and raised in Detroit, I never doubted that my hometown was full of potential and creativity. We invented the auto industry, the middle class and MOTOWN. If you can dream it, you can do it here.
When I looked for one of my creature comforts, a relaxing local yarn store, I couldn't find one. So I made Parker Avenue.
I'm excited to create that much needed third-place for Detroit. A welcoming store that's more than a store, it's a community. And everyone's welcome to join.
