Cascade Eco+ (used on Jacket shown on photo), or any other yarn with a light bulky or heavy worsted weight (14 to 15 st per 4 inches on US 10) NOTE: Cascade 128, which was originally recommended, can be used but some knitters have had problems with pilling and yarn “growing” after blocking.

Approximate yardage:

Jacket (short) version: approximately 200 (250, 300, 350, 400, 450) yds or 183 (229, 274, 320, 366, 411) m.
Coat (long) version: approximately 250 (300, 350, 400, 500, 550) yds or 229 (274, 320, 366, 457, 503) m.

Needles/notions:

• circular needles, size US10 (6mm), length should be at least 29”
• 1 set of size US10 (6mm) double-pointed needles
• 4 stitch markers
• 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn
• tapestry needle
• 3 (or 4 if knitting bigger sizes) 3/4” buttons

GAUGE:

3.5 stitches and 5.5 rows = 1 inchin stockinette stitch
